Salvation

So I have this class called God and Human Life. For an end-of-the-semester project, we had to write a paper on either 'salvation' or 'the nature of God.' It was due the week of finals. Luckily, our teacher gave us the option to do a project instead of a paper! I am usually against writing papers so I immediately took the project option. Usually when one says "project" I make a video... it's what I do. Buuut, there was only two weeks left before it was due and I was busy studying for upcoming finals week. So I searched for something else I could do...

A Blast from the Past

So I was searching through the old files on my computer and I found this gem. It's an autobiographical narrative paper I did for Freshman English in high school. At the time, I was quite proud of it. I love it when stories have deeper meanings or metaphors that tie things together, and I had found a way to work it into a story! You may not think it's stellar, and I agree. It isn't. I figured I'd give you something to chew on.

Diving for the Finish

Well, it's the end of the work week, thank God. Lots of stuff has happened, but I'm too tired. I think I'll summarize the week tomorrow to finish up the daily posts. For now, I'm going to make this short.

Looking ahead, I probably won't be doing a week of dailies in a while. It took quite some time to put together a lot of this stuff. It was a lot of fun though. I'll try to at least get a post in once or twice a week to keep this thing alive. Thanks for reading!

An Experiment

So I've been thinking... I feel like this blog is neglected. A couple of my favorite vloggers have tried doing daily vlogs. So I figured, "Hey! Why don't I try daily blog posts?" So starting next week on Sunday, I'm going to try it for a week. This gives me a way to tell lots of little stories that themselves can't sustain their own posts. If I can't think of anything to talk about... don't worry, I won't run out of stuff to talk about! I may post on Give Us Rice as my daily post, so check that out as well. It's quiet. Too quiet. All I hear is the 7th grade gym class and my friend humming a song next to me. I'm bored in study hall. *sigh* I'm tired (refer to the last post), so I don't feel like overachieving and getting ahead right now. Time for some Google Autofill!!

Thoughts on the Game of Hand-Egg (and sports in general)

I'm writing this as I watch a game of hand-egg otherwise known as the scrumptious hot-cake that is American football. Though it's not just any game of hand-egg. This is the most important game of hand-egg in the world: Super Bowl XLVII (for those who don't care to Google the roman numerals, it's Super Bowl forty-seven). Baltimore is ahead seven to three with 11:10 left in the second quarter. It's 3rd and a foot... Very nice run up the middle. First down.

A Year Gone By

I'm a very nostalgic person. I like things that look back at the past, be it photos, stories, or videos from years gone by. That may be one reason why I want to carry my video camera around everywhere. Seconds are flying by at lightning speed. What are we doing to store them? Sure, your memory can retain quite a bit of information, but there's nothing like a "hard-copy" of your memories, tangible evidence of the things you've done.
