Here We Go!

First post of the week! (Might as well get started early, eh?)

What to talk about...

Let's start off the week with a couple stories.

Well, for the first time yesterday, I went to two church services at two churches in the same morning. It felt kinda weird because I've never been somewhere you can walk to a different church between services. After first service at One Place, friends were like, "What church do you want to go next?" "Next week?" "No. Right now." For second service, we went to PMC which was quite good. A student who lost a leg in a motorcycle accident was interviewed for part of the service. That definitely made me rethink life. Pastor Nelson is going on a trip to Japan next week, and I learned that he can speak fluent Japanese!

Ahh, I can't go forever without telling this story. Last Tuesday, I was walking back to the dorm from orchestra at around 8:15 PM. I put my card up to the sensor to open the door. The door obliged and unlocked itself. I opened said door. The moment I did, the fire alarm went off. I thought to myself, "Weeeellll, I'm not in the dorm (which was true)." So I backed away and pretended I didn't notice anything. I stood about 30 feet away and observed all the guys coming out of the dorm talking about how much they hated fire drills. Then amidst the crowd, my brother walked out in his beefy boxers. I yelled at him to get a shirt from someone. So he does... and uses it to cover his boxers making it look like he has nothing on. I walked to the student center to wade out the fire drill while the guys went to check in and all that. Then 15 minutes later, a friend calls me and says my brother forgot his keys to get into our room (as if he hadn't forgotten more things). So I had to leave and bail my bro out... Sometimes I wonder how we're related.

That's quite the way to story to start off the week, isn't it?

If your not the story type of person, don't worry, it'll get better. Although, it depends on your definition of 'better'.

Best Wishes! -Richie
